The short version

This site is run by Bailey Holdsworth trading as TrackYaTradie (ABN 29 813 854 114). We use a small number of cookies - all from our advertising and security providers - to measure whether our ads work and to keep bots off the signup form. We set no tracking cookies of our own, and we show you a notice rather than a consent wall. This page sets out what runs and why, so you can judge for yourself and opt out if you want to.

1. Cookies on this site

The Meta and Google cookies load on our public website, including the login and payment confirmation pages. We do not include the tags that set them in the signed-in app (your dashboard and billing pages) or on the pages where clients view quotes and invoices. We also read the _fbp and _fbc values and use them in server-side ad measurement - see section 3.

2. Local storage

Separate from cookies, we keep some information in your browser's local storage. Storing it here does not send it anywhere by itself, but some of it does leave your browser later - the ad-click identifiers below are saved to our servers and used in the measurement described in section 3.

WhatPurpose
tyt_attributionHow you found us - ad-click identifiers (gclid/fbclid), campaign tags, referrer and landing page. Uploaded to our servers with your email address as soon as you complete step 1 of the trial form (so we can follow up on unfinished signups), and saved against your company record if you sign up.
Pricing-page breadcrumbsWhether you viewed the pricing page, clicked its trial button, and how many times you visited. Saved against your company record if you sign up, so we know which signups saw pricing first.
Sign-in sessionFirebase Authentication keeps your login session in browser storage (IndexedDB) so you stay signed in.
Convenience flagsSmall preferences like which dashboard to send you to after login, a cached copy of your company id, dismissed notices and banners, onboarding tour progress, and table sort settings.

3. Server-side measurement

When you start a trial or purchase a subscription, we also send conversion events to Meta and Google. The Meta events are sent from our servers (with your email and phone number in hashed form, plus IP address, browser information and the _fbp/_fbc values). The Google enhanced-conversion event is sent from your browser through the Google tag (your email address, using the Google cookies listed in section 1). Full details are in section 5 of the Privacy Policy.

4. Your choices

  • Block or clear cookies in your browser settings - the app keeps working fine without the advertising cookies.
  • Opt out of personalised ads at Meta ad preferences and Google ad settings.
  • Use a content blocker - the site works with ad blockers enabled.

5. Changes and contact

If we add or remove cookies, we will update this page and the date at the top. Questions? Email support@trackyatradie.com.
