How to Request Account Deletion
If you would like to delete your TrackYaTradie account and all associated data, please follow these steps:
- Send an email to admin@trackyatradie.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
- Include the email address associated with your TrackYaTradie account in the body of the email.
- We will verify your identity and process your request within 7 business days.
- You will receive a confirmation email once your account and data have been deleted.
What Data Is Deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Your user profile (name, email address, phone number)
- Your authentication credentials
- Any photos or images you uploaded (checklist items, task attachments)
- Your hour log entries and project assignments
- Your task completion history
What Data May Be Retained
The following data may be retained after your account is deleted:
- Company data — If you are a company owner, your company's projects, workers, and templates will remain accessible to other users in the company unless you request full company deletion.
- Billing records — Payment transaction history may be retained as required by Australian tax law and financial regulations for up to 7 years.
- Aggregated analytics — De-identified, aggregated usage data that cannot be linked back to you may be retained for service improvement purposes.
Company Owners
If you are the owner of a company account, deleting your account will also affect other users in your company. Before requesting deletion, please consider:
- Transferring ownership to another admin or user
- Exporting any data you need to keep
- Notifying your team members
If you wish to delete the entire company and all associated data (including all workers, projects, and templates), please specify this in your deletion request email.
